This is a little late. Sorry! But, we made this last week for Carson who turned 5! He wanted a shark cake. There was also a tail that came out of the side that they added once they got to the party. Glad you had a good party, Carson!

Taking A Cake Break

So we have decided to take a cake break. We will not be accepting any new orders at this time but will be honoring the cakes that are already on the calendar. Just need a break to re-cooperate. Please check back. Ill continue to post pictures as we finish the orders we have coming up. Very excited about them. We have some big orders next month. Thanks for the constant support. We will be back!

The results are in...

The official taste testers (Stephen and myself) have spoken and determined that those were pretty much the most amazing cupcakes EVER! We have both now had 2! Mine were not as pretty as the picture but when they taste as good as that, who cares what they look like!

What do you do with extra time?

So since Stephen has gone back to school, I have had more time to myself after work. So, I have started cooking alot more. I have my menus planned every week and I go shopping and get everything prepped. It is nice to not eat out much during the week. Plus, I love getting new recipes to try. I found a new blog today that I love. Here is the link. I looked at the blog for about and hour this afternoon before I went to the store to get ingredients for a couple recipes. I made the homemade pizza rolls and have them wrapped up and ready for Stephen to take to school for lunch. And now Im waiting for these to come out of the oven......

They are peanut butter cupcakes with peanut butter buttercream icing! Yummy!!! We will be having this for supper with some milk tonight. What? Weight Watchers who?

Twilight

Okay, I started this book last week. Only 150 pages into it. Some girls I work with were talking about how great it is and said it is addictive. They have read the whole series a couple times. I figured I had the time, so I bought it a couple week ago. I just cannot get into it. Am I the only one that has read this that is not obsessed? Anyone else out there think the same? I might try to read a few more chapters this weekend before I pass it on to someone else. Oh well, let me know what you think. Did you read it? Did you like it? What about the movie?

The Bubba Keg

This is my new friend...my Bubba Keg! I love it! Have been drinking my water out of it for two days now. It is great because I was having a hard time keeping any water cold in my car all day and kept spending money on water bottles at the closest gas station. The Blakes found these at Walmart and have been using them for awhile. They took them to the pool the other day in 100 degree weather and their water was still icy cold. So, next time I went to Walmart I had to pick one up. Stephen just laughes at me because I keep making him taste it to see how cold the water is after so many hours. Im actually getting all my water in each day which has not been happening the last couple weeks. Pretty sure though that the inventors of this product did not design it for water consumption considering it has a bottle opener built into the handle. Ha ha! Oh well! I love it!

Happy Birthday, Gary! Made this for a big MSU fan. I told Amanda (who ordered the cake) that the icing was pretty purple when we started mixing it. I think it was a sign from God that we were supposed to be making a LSU cake instead.
