Diet---ughh!!
So I have these two bridesmaid dresses that I have to wear this summer so I have been trying to lose some weight to make sure I look extra nice for the brides. Don't want to embarrass them or anything :) So yesterday I picked this up from our local store. Funny thing is, I went for my fat free french vanilla coffee creamer and they did not have it. But they did have 3 types of soymilk. Who knew? You never know what you will find when you stroll up and down the isles of Shop and Save. Other things I have noticed they do not have that I have needed:
- refrigerated pizza dough
-marinated artichokes hearts
- Comunity coffee
- reduced fat triscuts
- goldfish crackers
- yellow or red bellpeppers
Im sure the list will continue to grow the more recipes I find. I have to say that this soy milk was pretty good with my kashi go lean. I really wanted something bad for me for supper but resisted since I have to weigh in the morning. Oh well, Stephen has already promised me sushi when we go to Tuscaloosa Tuesday, so I need to save up my points!

Baby Shower Cake
Just finished this cake for a co-worker's baby shower tomorrow. I hope they like it! The chocolate smelled so good while I was decorating it! This was a combination of a couple different cakes that I had seen on my favorite cake website. I wanted to do a monogram cake but Mom and Dad have not agreed on a name yet. Im just going to have to convince someone to order a monogram cake because I have several designs in my head that I would love to make.

Destin
All week last week, I kept telling myself if I made it to Friday, I would get to put my toes in the sand! Jenna took this picture for me. Just wanted it as a reminder to look at when work is stressing me out. We had a great trip to Destin. There are a ton of pictures, but I will have to add them later. I wish we could have stayed a few extra days but I was already burnt after just one day on the beach. Maybe I can talk Stephen into going back later this summer :)

Ironman Cake
This was a last minute order that we received this week. I was actually very excited because this was our first order from someone that we don't know. This lady heard about us from someone else that had seen some of our cakes. Her son, Jacob, is turning 7 and wanted an Ironman cake. I of course said, "Yes!" before I thought about it. Ironman does not have a symbol or anything easy to do. Thank goodness I live with a superhero expert. Stephen actually drew this mask for me and I traced it on to the cake and iced it. Thanks Stephen!! We could not have done this without you!! We also got several other cake orders this week for the upcoming months, and we will being doing our first baby shower cake next Friday. Well, Im off to pack for the beach. Leaving for a girl's trip to Destin in the morning with all the Pourciaus! Cant wait to put my feet in the sand and maybe work on my tan if its warm enough. Ill post pictures next week when we get back.

Snow!!!! (in march ?!?!)

This weekend has been nothing like we planned. I was going to work at the hospital Friday night but they called and told me to stay home. Fine with me! I took a long much needed nap. Saturday we were going to Bubba and Elyse's wedding. About 45 minutes before the wedding, the church flooded from all the rain we had over the last few days. They grabbed what they could and everyone headed down the road to another church where they were married. It was still a very sweet and special ceremony. Then we went over to Jim and Tara's to make dinner and hang out only it started to get really cold. Stephen's mom called to tell us the weather was going to get bad and ask if we were on the road. We decided to just spend the night with the Blakes. When I woke up this morning, I looked out the window and saw a ton of SNOW! There was so much, I could even see it without my glasses! Ha Ha! I started jumping up and down and screaming and then woke everyone else up. Tara and I can outside in our pjs to see the snow. It was so much fun. I cannot believe how much fell. There was at least 2 inches on the ground this morning. But, as soon as the sun came out it started melting very quickly and now you can hardly tell we had a snow storm this morning. Only in the south! It was stormy with tornadoes Friday and then snow and ice last night. I dont think I will ever get used to the weather here.
