Everywhere you look...

Everywhere you look, you see BABIES!!! Ahhh! Ha ha! Sorry just a little overwhelmed by it. This week, my friend Stacy FINALLY had her sweet baby Hunter! I was in charge of her first baby, Zoey on the day of the delivery. She was totally confused to see me and kept looking all over the house for her momma and would come back and look at me and say "where did she go?"
Zoey "Are you my mommy?"
Baby Hunter the night he was born (Sorry so blurry- it was texted to me and then saved from my phone)
I went to the hospital the next day to finally meet him. He was so cute! He just slept in my lap for awhile. I have heard he even has dimples! I have not seen them yet though. Guess Ill have to go over and play with him some more to see it for myself.
Mommy giving him his first manicure. He was so far along that his nails were extremely long! We filed them down because his dad said he was looking too much like a girl :)
On another note, I decided to take a walk on the wild side and shake things up a bit. I painted my toes a bright blue! Ha ha! Just wanted to show them off.
Last night we decided to go to Tuscaloosa with the Blakes. They needed to get their baby registery started at Target and Im always up for a shopping trip and spending other people's money.

P90X update: We have made it 8 days! Yea!! We have stuck with the diet having one cheat meal last night ( we needed some Mexican!). We are both very happy with our results this week. I cannot believe how many more push ups I could do today versus last Sunday. And by that I mean I could actually do several push ups today and could hardly do one last week. Ha Ha! Success!!

Finally!!

This weekend we finally got to find out what Jim and Tara's little baby is going to be. We went to dinner Friday night and had a little gender reveal party. Here we are with our cupcakes. We decided to do dessert before we went to dinner since the secret was hidden in the cupcakes. Here we are not being patient at all:

ITS A GIRL!!!!!!! (showing off the pink icing that was hidden inside)
Checking out Ruby Claire's latest photo shoot:
The boys trying to figure out what they were looking at in the money shots. Stephen has given up completely on trying to read an ultrasound.
Headed to dinner at Harvey's..Yum!
After dinner, we headed to Sonic (and parked on the cool side to hang out like the cool kids do)
Then we lost to the boys in Cranium. This NEVER happens. We always win! I think it was because I had to leave early to get to bed so I could go to work. Sorry girls, I let you down!

Besides the gender reveal party, I worked Saturday and Sunday. Plus, Stephen and I started doing P90x. It is kicking our butts!! Im so sore! I wanted to take a bath tonight but knew that if I sat down in the bathtub I would never be able to crawl back out. Haha! If you don't know what it is go to YouTube and type in P90X and watch a few videos to see what we have decided to put ourselves through.

Fabric Flower Obsession

So I saw a blog post on one of the blogs that I like to stalk. I sent the link to Leigh and she said she would make a couple of these super cute headbands. She mailed me on a couple weeks ago and I loved it. Chatting with Tara, we decided we needed to make a few of our own. The guys were gone this weekend to The Grid Iron Conference in Tuscaloosa so we had a girls' night and busted out the glue guns:
And we lined up all our supplies that we got for a great deal at the trusty Walmart and The Dollar Tree:

And we got started ripping up fabric and braiding and gluing and sewing and having a blast:

All I have to say is A.N.T.M.:

Tara's final collection:
My final collection:

I love this color combo. I actually made this one for a friend:
Of course we had to make a few to wear to the Bama games this year:

This is what our very organized table looked like by 1 am. Haha:
I add this one to my shirt this morning for church. Yes, I cropped by face out. no make up and the hair was not done yet.

We went to Hobby Lobby yesterday and dug through the fabric scrap bin. We will def have to make some more. Especially, if Tara finds out she is having a girl. We will have 1,000 made by the time the baby gets here!
