This is my G'momma (was originally grandmommma but we decided she was too cool for that and needed a more "street" name so it was shortened to G'momma). She recently retired from Woman's Hospital in Baton Rouge, La. She started working there as a nurse on the Labor and Delivery floor. She later became an Administrative Supervisor. Here are a few things her co-workers had to say about her:Peggy is a wonderful lady who gives freely of her time and talents. She is an asset to the hospital and a pleasure to work with.
Peggy has an extremely pleasant attitude and has a wonderful gift of knowing something personal about everyone, and will graciously inquire about things when she sees you.
Peggy’s professional manner sets a great example for all of Woman’s Hospital staff.
What a great legacy she is leaving in the nursing world. I know she was a big influence on many young nurses, including myself. I really look up to her and her experience and knowledge of the field. G'momma, I am so proud to call you my grandmother and also my fellow nurse. I love you! Happy Retirement! Now we need to pack our bags for another trip!
